What is becoming one of the most popular Pickers & Antique Event in Southern Oregon, Tie Days Picker Run, is sponsored by Shady Kate’s in Shady Cove, Oregon. The 2012 multi-layered Picker Run Event appeals to all age groups and involves numerous antique stores and mercantiles throughout Southern Oregon.

WHAT IS THE TIE DAYS PICKER RUN ?
Developed from the “Poker Run” concept, the Tie Days Picker Run was originally created for a Shady Cove Father’s Day event in which neck ties were used as the theme. The neck tie theme continued and has become a brand for Shady Kate’s. Participants gather punches on game cards by visiting sponsoring businesses. Card punches add up to opportunities for entries into a drawing that will be held the last day of the event.
HOW CAN I PLAY TO ENTER THE DRAWING?
The Tie Days Picker Run begins on August 4th and ends on August 25th with an all-day party at Shady Kate’s.
Anyone over the age of 18 can participate by visiting any/all of the sponsoring antique stores/mercantiles listed below. Upon your first visit to one of the sponsoring stores, ask for a picker map and a game card. At each visit to a participating store, you will receive a discount on any purchases made AND will receive one punch on your game card. Five punches anywhere qualifies the player to enter their name once; 1 punch per town qualifies for 3 entries; all stops qualifies for 5 entries. for the drawing which will be held at the all-day celebration at Shady Kate’s on August 25th. The prize for this years drawing is a chainsaw-carved salmon valued at $500.00. The prize is on display now at Shady Kate’s.
